  • After reaching out, I will get back to you within 2 business days to schedule a consultation. At the consultation, held via phone or video, we will discuss our fit for working together and to see how we can best work together to help you get the support you need.

    After consultation, I will collect some information to set up your profile in our patient portal. I will send consent forms electronically and once those are completed I will schedule our initial intake at a time that works for both of us!

  • I am an out-of-network provider and I currently do not accept insurance. I understand that this may create access barriers to folks and can provide support in sending superbills for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider.

  • I am able to accept the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. This will be directly inputted by you into your client portal.

  • Yes. I accept payment via credit or debit cards, including FSA/HSA cards. I can also provide you with a superbill if you pay out of pocket for services and you later request reimbursement through your HSA.

  • The length of therapy is unique to each individual and family and is determined by your life experiences and your goals for therapy, as well as the extent of your needs. At the beginning of treatment, we will work with you to determine your goals and then check in with you regularly to assess and re-evaluate.

  • Therapy sessions are approximately 60 minutes, and can be extended up to 90 minutes for families or extended EMDR reprocessing.

  • Sessions are usually held weekly, especially while getting started, in order to build a strong therapeutic relationship and safety in the therapy space. If you would prefer to meet more or less frequently, we would be happy to discuss a schedule that accommodates your financial and support needs.

  • I describe my therapy as person-centered and attachment-focused. Creating a safe and strong therapeutic relationship and joining with you just as you are creates the foundation for us to do meaningful healing work.
    I utilize attachment theory, trauma-informed care, EMDR, mindfulness, and insight-promoting approaches to create an authentic and meaningful experience with those whom I serve.

    I utilize Polyvagal Theory in all of my work to increase the understanding of how our lived experiences may be impacting current daily life in our response to stressors and to help provide a framework for increasing our sense of peace and calm while pursuing healing.

  • CPT codes will be required and shown on your superbill for possible reimbursement through your insurance company.

    I utilize the following CPT codes primarily:

    90837: 60 minute individual therapy

    90847: 60 minute family therapy with identified patient present

    99354: 30 minute or more add-on for 90 minute sessions paired with one of the above CPT codes.

    These will be reflected on your superbills paired with the dates of service.

  • I will start by saying I pursue fat liberation more than I pursue body positivity/HAES. I believe HAES and body positivity are important and offer important pieces within their practices, but I believe the ultimate end is truly fat liberation to uproot the systems that continue to harm fat folks, especially fat, black, disabled, and queer folks.
